Aquaforest Component 1+2+3+ 3 x 5 L

Aquaforest Component 1+2+3+ is a triple dosing system developed for the Balling Light method, supporting the balance of calcium (Ca), magnesium (Mg), and carbonate hardness (KH). (aquaforest.eu)

Usage Area: Balancing Ca, Mg, and KH in reef aquariums using the Balling Light method.
How to Use: Component 1, 2, and 3 are added daily in equal amounts using separate dosing pumps or with an automatic dosing system according to the system's needs.
Dosing Amount: As a starting reference, a daily dosage of approximately 25 ml (Component 1, 2, and 3 separately) per 100 L of aquarium water is recommended. This can then be increased or decreased based on consumption and ICP analyses.

A typical aquarium with an average number of hard corals requires about 25 ml of each component daily per 100 L (27 US gallons) of water. To keep the parameters stable, we recommend dividing the daily dose into as many small doses as possible. 

 Component 1+  contains: Ca, Sr, Ba, Co, Mn, Cu, Fe, Zn, Ni, Cr, Mo (25 ml dissolved in 100 l/27 US gallons increases Ca by 4.5 ppm).

Component 2+  contains: NaHCO3, F, I. (25 ml dissolved in 100 l/27 US gal increases KH by 0.65 dKH (Alk: 0.23 meq/l)).

Component 3+  contains: Mg, Reef Mineral Salt, K, B, Li (25 ml dissolved in 100 l/27 US gallons increases Mg by 0.38 ppm).

Component 3 contains Reef Mineral Salt, which is necessary for the stabilization of aquarium parameters.

During coral growth, the consumption of Ca, Mg, and KH destabilizes not only the main macroelements but also many trace elements present in the water. The disturbance of ionic balance can lead to loss of color, slow growth, and tissue weakening over time.
