The Lyretail Anthias is one of the most popular anthias species for reef aquariums, known for its bright orange-pink colors and schooling behavior. Male individuals have more vibrant colors and elongated fin extensions, while females appear in more subdued orange tones.
In its natural habitat, it lives in large groups in open reef areas and feeds on zooplankton in the water column. Its constantly active swimming adds movement and vibrancy to the aquarium.
