Amphiprion ocellaris is one of the most popular species in marine aquariums. Also known as "Nemo." In nature, it typically lives in a symbiotic relationship with sea anemones, but it can comfortably live without anemones in an aquarium.
Being an omnivore, it accepts both meaty and vegetable-based foods. When paired, it can exhibit territorial behavior.
Points to Consider
- Paired individuals may claim small territories
- Aggression may be observed with individuals of the same species in the aquarium
- They can live without an anemone, but their bonding behavior will decrease.
