The Radiata Lionfish stands out from other lionfish species with its dark body, thin white stripes, and a simpler yet elegant fin structure. Despite its more "minimalist" appearance, it is a very impressive and predatory species.
In its natural habitat, it lives hidden in rocky areas and caves of coral reefs. It feeds on small fish and crustaceans and is an ambush predator.
