Dascyllus aruanus is a robust damsel species very popular in marine aquariums due to its black and white striped appearance. It is also known as "Humbug Damsel" or "Three-Stripe Damsel". Its active swimming behavior and striking patterns add vibrancy to reef aquariums.

It can live healthily for a long time in reef aquariums with live rock decor, good filtration, and stable water parameters. It does not harm corals or most invertebrate species.
