The Zebra Moray Eel is one of the most striking moray species with its black-and-white zebra pattern and thick body structure. It has a calmer temperament compared to other morays and typically feeds on crustaceans rather than hunting fish.

In its natural habitat, it lives hidden in rock crevices and caves within coral reefs. It uses its powerful jaws to crush and feed on crabs, shrimp, and other shelled organisms.
